Job SummaryWe are seeking a Bookkeeper Specialist who will manage the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. The role includes analyzing financial information, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, preparing payroll, processing invoices, monitoring project expenses, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The candidate will work closely with project managers to assess financial performance and ensure projects stay within budget while complying with industry regulations.
Full‑time position, in person.
- Communicate with customers and subcontractors to ensure the accuracy of charges and payments in a professional manner.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, line wavers, and developments.
- Enter financial data and transactions.
- Analyze budgets and other financial information.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations.
- Process payroll.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, Builder Trend, and basic accounting systems.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Management and HR experience a plus.
$75,000.00 — $85,000.00 per year
