Job DescriptionThe Membership and Marketing Coordinator will assist the Director of Marketing and Membership with day-to-day administration functions and frequent interaction with the membership.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
- Manage day-to-day administration of membership and marketing paperwork and documentation.
- Coordinate the Summer Member Program and maintain all member packages.
- Interface with the real estate team to support new members; maintain current membership files and notices.
- Process prospective member applications (credit/background checks and packets).
- Assist with amendments to Club Bylaws and respond to member referrals; prepare marketing/membership reports.
- Draft minutes for assigned Board/Committee meetings as required.
- Follow all applicable laws; conduct membership orientations; plan membership activities/functions; prepare invitations, agendas, and correspondence.
- Assist with tours of amenities/facilities for new/prospective members; work with POA/Realty management, Boards, and members; manage external vendor relationships.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer skills: MS Office, Windows, Internet, Adobe Acrobat; basic CRM/database knowledge; graphic design software (InDesign/Photoshop) is helpful.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a country club.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact tactfully with staff, management, members; able to work with a high level of professionalism.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (hospitality or marketing management).
- Minimum two years’ club experience preferred in Membership and/or Marketing; experience with drafting minutes for committee meetings preferred.
- Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat; CRM/database knowledge; basic graphic design software helpful.
