This is an in-office position and is not remote.
Artisan Design Group is seeking a motivated Flooring Estimator to join our team. This position is intended for candidates with estimating, construction, flooring, or related industry experience who are looking to grow their career in the flooring and construction industry. The estimator will be responsible for reviewing project plans, performing take-offs, preparing estimates and proposals, and coordinating with vendors to obtain accurate pricing.
This role works closely with internal teams to ensure project estimates are completed accurately and within required timelines.

- Prepare project estimates and proposals for flooring installations.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain material pricing.
- Perform quantity take-offs using project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare estimates and proposals using estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
- Create and maintain estimating templates for different types of projects.
- Review bid documents, plans, specifications, and change orders.
- Gather necessary information for projects including revisions and updates to projects in progress.
- Manage multiple estimating requests and ensure deadlines are met.
- Work independently while coordinating with internal teams and departments.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

- High School diploma, or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
- Experience in flooring, construction estimating, or project coordination is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications is helpful but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good communication skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Legal work authorization requirements.
