Senior Project Manager - Public Construction

Majority of their work is in the public sector working with education With a growing pipeline of projects carrying them into 2024 they are looking to grow their talented team through the addition of a PM/ Sr.

PM. Description Lead the overall direction and execution of multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Manage project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and subcontractors Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and risk management plans Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and public-sector stakeholders Oversee contract administration, change orders, cost controls, and project forecasting Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Participate in preconstruction efforts, estimating reviews, and pursuit strategies Mentor and develop junior project management staff Build and maintain strong relationships with public owners and industry partners throughout Florida Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering public-sector projects in Florida Strong knowledge of Florida public procurement, contracts, permitting, and construction regulations Experience managing projects valued at $20M+ preferred Background in K-12, municipal, government, higher education, public safety, transportation, or healthcare projects strongly preferred Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and construction management software Job Offer Base salary up to $160,000 Performance-based bonus program Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
