- Supportive office culture with tenured team with low turnover
- Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple locations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with legal industry financial practices including contingency billing, trust accounting, and client fund handling
- Implement and document SOP’s
- Supervise 1 accounting staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in the law firm industry
- Quick Books experience
- Strong understanding of legal billing and trust accounting practices
