Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage financial operations with precision and efficiency. This role involves handling a wide range of bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Located in Boynton Beach, Florida, this Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual seeking long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date.

- Prepare and file sales tax reports in compliance with local and state regulations.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain and update financial data and generate reports as needed.

- Monitor and track financial transactions to ensure proper documentation and categorization.

- Resolve discrepancies in accounts by investigating and correcting errors promptly.

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.

- Maintain organized and secure records of financial activities and transactions.

- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and account inquiries.

- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with established financial procedures. Requirements - Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping, including managing AP and AR.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other financial software.

- Strong knowledge of bank and credit card reconciliation processes.

- Familiarity with sales tax regulations and reporting requirements.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

- Effective communication skills for vendor and client interactions.

- Prior experience in a Contract to permanent position is a plus.
