Responsibilities- Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications and determine approval or denial.
- Evaluate underwriting policies, target productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate findings, present information, and respond to questions from customers, the general public, and management.
- Associate’s degree and at least 5 years recent underwriting experience with 2 years underwriting FHA loans.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage insurance (MI) policies.
- Ability to meet target for productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to mentor processors and loan officers on new guidelines and policies.
