Staff Accountant

Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a collaborative finance team supporting a growing, multi-entity operation.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across the organization.

Compensation

+ $26-$30/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes

+ Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

+ Assist with financial reporting and internal reporting packages

+ Partner with operations teams to improve financial workflows

+ Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

+ Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 2-5 years of accounting experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

+ Strong understanding of GAAP

+ Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
