Description

The Technician will follow well‑defined instructions and use necessary skills to receive and fill medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Duties include:

• receive and triage prescriptions, order entry, and third‑party adjudication; fill and label medications
• facilitate prior authorizations and patient assistance resources
• complete point‑of‑sale transactions, schedule deliveries (meds to beds), answer telephone calls and direct them to appropriate staff
• Rx/OTC inventory procurement and receiving, stock and supply replenishment, general pharmacy organization and clean lines
• provide exceptional customer service

Estimated pay range: $18.32 – $23.82 per hour, depending on experience.

• High School diploma, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent experience
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license
• Retail‑outpatient or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred, including internship training hours
• Current pharmacy technician registration in the state of Florida
• Maintains PTCB or ICPT certification, or Florida Pharmacy Intern license (preferred)

Minimum required experience: less than 1 year
