Job Summary

Vertus Health Care is a Medicare Certified home health agency servicing Palm Beach County, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our home health agency, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our patients.

• Develops, plans, implements, analyzes, and organizes clinical operations to ensure the highest level of quality care for patients
• Conducts and delegates assessments and reassessments of patients, updates care plans, and interprets patient needs
• Manages the assignment of caregivers and ensures the delivery of quality home care services
• Oversees the delivery of care to all patients served by the location, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements of third-party payers
• Evaluates staff performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions
• Analyzes situations, identifies problems, and evaluates alternative courses of action through the utilization of Performance Improvement principles
• Maintains ongoing clinical knowledge through internal and external training programs and provides interpretation of knowledge and direction to staff
• Participates in performance improvement activities, maintains relationships with referral/community sources, and conducts care-related programs
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse
• Proof of current CPR
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Two years as a Registered Nurse with at least one year of management experience in a home care, hospice, or equivalent environment
