Position: Operations Manager (Non-Complex)

Overview

Position Summary... What you ll do... Initiates, directs and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community, establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups in the community, representing the company to various external organizations, and championing company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts for associates, customers, and the local community.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies, and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in assigned area by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and providing recognition;

communicates expectations clearly to promote a sense of belonging in the workplace, and provides coaching to ensure business goals are achieved. Models exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved, and leading process improvements to deliver a high-quality customer experience. Assists the store manager in driving financial performance by helping achieve sales and profit goals, reviewing PL statements, controlling expenses indexed to sales, and developing plans to improve financial performance while analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in daily operations.

Respect the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen and supported, and fostering a culture of belonging. Act with integrity, serve customers, make data-driven decisions, and strive for excellence by driving continuous improvements and embracing new technologies and skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may have additional compensation elements such as Regional Pay Zone or Complex Structure depending on location and external factors. This job has an additional pay differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
