Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for 2nd shift mill-turn operations in our precision manufacturing facility. In this role, you will set up, operate, and adjust CNC mill-turn equipment to produce tight-tolerance orthopedic, medical device, and aerospace components. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and GD&T, performing offsets, tool changes, and basic program edits, and inspecting parts using precision measuring tools.

You'll work with in a quality-focused, regulated environment, supporting continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration to meet demanding customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mill-turn machines to produce precision components to print
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
  • Perform offsets, tool changes, and basic program edits to maintain part quality
  • Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect parts and document results
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot basic issues, and minimize downtime
  • Follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in a medical/aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality staff on process improvements
