Overview

An outstanding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to lead a high-performing Medical‑Surgical Neuro Unit in the Boynton Beach area. This leadership role oversees a 32–36 bed acute care unit that delivers specialized neuro and medical care. You’ll guide a skilled team of nurses and clinical coordinators, ensuring safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care while shaping departmental success within a respected healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 leadership and operational oversight for the Med Surg Neuro Unit.

Supervise staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization to maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios.

Support and mentor nursing staff, promoting education, engagement, and retention.

Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.

Collaborate with medical staff, directors, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.

Ensure compliance with hospital standards, clinical policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required:

Active Florida RN license or Compact Licensure (in good standing)

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience as a charge nurse, CNC, or nurse manager in an acute care setting

Preferred:

BSN or higher degree in Nursing

Experience managing a Med‑Surg or Neuro specialty unit

Strong skills in communication, coaching, and performance improvement

Base pay: $38.52 – $53.70/hour, commensurate with experience
