Patient Care Nurse Supervisor, Cornell Inpatient Rehab Bethesda East

Position

Patient Care Supervisor – Cornell Inpatient Rehab, Bethesda East – Full‑time (7 P – 7:30 A). Compensation: $46.02 – $61.21 per hour (depending on experience) plus $20,000 bonus.

Provides supervision and leadership to patient care units. Specific functions include collaborating and supporting the manager with staff evaluations, patient flow, staff and family education, and serving as a patient/guest service ambassador. Assists with problem solving on the tour of duty, coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for current and on‑coming shifts, participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance. Ensures that services are provided within the philosophy and objectives as well as the policies and procedures of the hospital and Baptist Health South Florida.

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • Registered Nurse
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • If Bachelor’s degree is non‑nursing, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
  • BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, PALS, or NRP as required by unit assignment within 6 months of promotion or hire.
  • Certification in area of specialty within 2 years of promotion or hire.
