Patient Care Nurse Supervisor, Infusion Therapy
- Provides supervision and leadership to the patient care units.
- Collaborates with the manager on staff evaluations, patient flow, staff and family education.
- Serves as patient/guest service ambassador and assists with problem solving during duties.
- Coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for current and incoming shifts.
- Participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance.
- Ensures services are provided within the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the hospital and Baptist Health South Florida.
- Minimum 2 years of experience (Chemo Infusion Therapy experience required).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; if Bachelor is non‑nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified (required).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as required by unit assignment and to be obtained within 6 months of promotion or hire.
- Certification in specialty area within 2 years of promotion or hire.
