Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 8‑10 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of several components:
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, lifting and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will be required to kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You can read, write, and understand English.
- You can lift, pull, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have a Wi‑Fi network and internet access.
- You have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
Part‑time employees with a work schedule less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
