Grocery Store Manager

Location:

250 North Congress Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL 33426

• Monday – Saturday 7 AM – 8 PM
• Sunday 9 AM – 6 PM

• Support and execute in‑store promotional activities with high engagement and oversight on promotions and merchandising direction.
• Serve as a Servant Leader: interview, hire, orient, and train new associates; mentor and manage performance through coaching.
• Assess voice‑of‑customer data to improve customer experience, product selection, and operational opportunities.
• Develop weekly work schedules using the workforce management tool to meet labor targets while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws.
• Execute and grow external order programs such as e‑commerce and express orders.

• 3+ years of grocery or retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Hands‑on leadership experience in grocery retail departments (e.g., Produce, Deli/Bakery, or Meat/Seafood) is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work a demanding schedule of 50+ hours per week, including 10‑hour workdays, pre‑opening/closing shifts, and occasional six‑day workweeks.
• Experience with safe food handling and storage practices.
• Business acumen to understand and leverage financial reporting for decision making.
• Ability to unload merchandise, organize, and transfer items from stockroom to store.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Pass pre‑employment checks: drug screen, criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record per GFS policy.
