What You’ll Do
  • Lead & develop a winning team

  • Drive store performance & profitability by executing operational plans to meet sales, labor, and profitability goals
  • Analyze sales, margin, and labor reports to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Operationalize marketing strategies to boost food sales and promotions
  • Monitor inventory, cash handling, and store expenses to optimize financial results
  • Ensure high standards in food & safety by leading by example in safety and sanitation standards
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food and beverage offerings meet or exceed expectations
  • Train and enforce compliance with food handling, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean & organized store – ensuring it is always clean, well‑stocked, and visually appealing
  • Proactively address maintenance needs and vendor relationships
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll execution to ensure proper staffing levels
  • Understand the impact of inventory and execute all inventory processes, including regular audits and checks
  • Analyze inventory, shrink, and labor reports to identify improvement opportunities and communicate corrective action plans to the team
  • Regularly monitor store traffic and create effective schedules at least two weeks in advance, balancing labor costs with demand
  • Ensure accurate payroll execution and that all associates’ hours are recorded and paid correctly
  • Use data such as sales trends, seasonality, and turnover to determine staffing needs and maintain adequate staffing
  • Oversee written performance management, ensuring conversations are conducted privately and constructively with all documentation completed and signed
  • Build a growth mindset in team members by offering continuous feedback and coaching on their development journey
  • Create an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued, included, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (high‑volume preferred)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills
  • Ability to analyze business metrics and make data‑driven decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices
Must‑Haves for This Role
  • High school diploma or GED, in progress or completed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Must obtain and maintain Manager Food Handler certification (and alcohol server permit, if required)
