Job Title: Dispensary Associate – Part‑time

FLSA Status: Regular Non‑Exempt
Pay: $14.50 an hour (position eligible for tips)
The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding customers into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. The role involves facilitating purchases per state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients.
- Deliver the Tru Experience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
- Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare and process patient orders efficiently.
- Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the leader on duty to enhance customer experience.
- Assist customers with product or device issues.
- Work with leadership and management to solve customer issues.
- Document customer issues and concerns on the customer’s profile.
- Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
- Maintain a clear driving record to fulfill delivery driver responsibilities.
- Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures as a delivery associate.
- Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent plus experience in a similar field.
- Minimum age 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, WV).
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service preferred.
- Prior cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
- Strong business sense, professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to communicate in conversational English and operate electronic equipment.
- Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery duties.
- Pass a comprehensive background record check.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and use prosthetics if necessary to meet physical requirements.
- Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and occasionally hostile people.
- Move/traverse throughout entire facility, including confined spaces.
- Manipulate objects up to 50 lbs; lift/carry/position up to 50 lbs; ascend/descend steps and ladders.
- Occasionally remain seated.
- Flexible hours; evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
- Maximum 25 hours per week and available for after‑hours as needed.
