Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of electrical experience with proven industrial work experience
• Active Journeyman license, any state
• Proven experience with installing conduit cable trays (PVC coated, galvanized, 3-inch conduit), pulling cable and terminating connections, switch gear installations, duct bank setup (2-inch) and setting manholes (1,400–1,500 ft runs)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with grading, operating haul trucks, and surface finishing (grinding, sanding, polishing)
• Familiarity with large-scale government projects
Job Description Insight Global is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team on a major industrial and government project in South Florida. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across complex systems within a large-scale construction environment. Candidates must have at least 4 years of construction site experience, strong proficiency with hand and power tools, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
The position requires adaptability to changing tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced, high-demand setting. Travel and extended on-site work may be required to meet project milestones. Hourly rates vary depending on level of electrical experience, starting at $28/hr - $35/hr.
