Retail Technician; CDL

Clean Harbors in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide comprehensive environmental services including collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products; recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids and other materials; and on-site cleanup activities.

• Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Pick up, pack, and transport damaged and discarded goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products.
• Drive a box truck and visit retail customer sites.
• Interact with customers at each stop.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents.
• Use a laptop, printer, handheld device, and iPhone to complete tasks.
• Conduct projects/jobs according to site‑specific federal, state, and local regulations and health and safety plans, as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Execute jobs at Clean Harbors customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Prepare and approve all projects before shipment in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies.
• Understand customer‑specific disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements.
• Ensure drum counts are correct and drum conditions are shippable per company policies.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other requirements.
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license.
• CDL Class A or Class
  
  B.
• Obtain a hazmat and tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to use a laptop, handheld device, printer, and iPhone.
• Ability to perform physical functions required by the job.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
• Meet facial hair standards per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard 29 CFR 1910.34.

• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Previous route experience.
• Previous manual labor experience.
