Concrete Foreman
The Concrete Foreman leads and supervises concrete flatwork crews on daily operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. This role oversees all phases of concrete work, from site preparation and layout through placement, finishing, and curing, while coordinating labor, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and meet project specifications.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise concrete flatwork crews in day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, grades, and specifications to guide all concrete activities.
- Coordinate site preparation, form setting, reinforcement installation, concrete placement, finishing, and curing activities.
- Schedule and organize labor, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and meet project timelines.
- Monitor workmanship to ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to keep projects on track.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members while promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Perform layout, grade checks, and elevation verification to ensure accurate placement of concrete work.
- Maintain detailed daily reports, including manpower levels, progress updates, equipment usage, and material quantities.
- 3+ years of experience as a concrete foreman preferred.
- 1+ years of experience operating power trowels.
- At least 6 months of experience reading blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong concrete construction and concrete finishing skills, particularly in flatwork.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise crews in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and ability to enforce safety standards.
- Valid driver's license.

Work EnvironmentThis role works outdoors at active construction sites, overseeing concrete flatwork operations in varying weather conditions. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, involving regular interaction with crews, subcontractors, and inspectors, as well as the use of standard concrete construction tools and equipment such as power trowels. Appropriate field attire and safety gear are required to meet site and safety standards.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, MT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
