Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must have a flexible schedule as demands might require working at least two weekends per month, evenings, holidays and special events.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably in an athletic club, as a Barista, or other service industry preferred.
  • Specific Responsibilities:
  • Be able to count and verify cash, shift activity, and gift certificates, with departing shift.
  • Be able to use basic computer skills.
  • Multi-tasking is a priority.
  • Be able to recognize and greet our members by name.
  • Make coffee and smoothies in a precise and efficient manner.
  • Answer multiple phone lines and be able to transfer and voicemail as necessary.
  • Keep locker rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Work with members and guests in a respectful and courteous manner.
  • Remain sensitive to others and maintain a genuine interest in working for our members' best interests.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working with team members.
  • Demonstrate qualities of leadership, responsibility, and maturity.
  • Alert supervisor of any current or potential problems.
  • Possess good communication and written skills.
  • Be able to comprehend instructions and information.
  • Have the people skills necessary to work effectively with the members and fellow employees.
