Math Intervention Teacher - 1.0 FTE (remainder of the 25/26 school year)

Salary Range $48,779 - $54,925 or appropriate placement on the certified salary schedule. Benefits Available.

Job Description:

Provide high quality math interventions to students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Develop and implement programs to support students with Tier 3 specific math intervention needs. Supporting and provide students with Tier 2 math intervention needs as a member of grade-level content teams. Serve as a consultant to school personnel and parents of these students. Assist in the development and implementation of math intervention plans for general education students, as part of a team.

Help lead school-wide MTSS and PLC processes and systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

2. Valid Montana Educator's Certificate in K-8 Teaching/Math/SPED/Counseling or ability to be certified by the start of the  school year.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. K-8 Certified, MATH, or SPED

2. Experience in similar position assisting the building principal with the comprehensive school wide academic plan and interventions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills

2. Ability to develop and implement academic intervention plans, develop and refine school wide MTSS processes, help lead PLC meetings.

3. Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school; interpret and enforce school and school district policies and regulations.

4. Ability to evaluate effective instructional strategies and techniques

5. Experience in the development and implementation of effective curricular/learning programs

6. Experience in the development and implementation of progress monitoring systems for academincs and behavior

7. Experience in data collection and data analysis

8.

Experience with group facilitation and problem-solving strategies

9. Ability to effectively lead/facilitate group processes

10. Experience in the development and implementation of the Pyramid Model (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 Interventions) in regards to academic supports.
