Career Education Coach

Montana State University is hiring a Career Education Coach. The role involves supporting students in developing career readiness through personalized coaching, workshops, and classroom engagement while managing caseloads and collaborating with campus partners to enhance student professional development.

• Provide one‑on‑one and group career coaching, resume and cover letter support, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Assess individual student needs and tailor coaching methods accordingly while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching interactions and track student engagement data for program assessment.
• Collaborate with campus partners and internal teams to coordinate career services.
• Manage scheduling and prioritization of coaching caseload independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience required; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience delivering programs, workshops, or training and supporting individuals through advising or coaching.
• Proficiency with digital tools to support learning or service delivery.
• Salary is $24.55 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
• Position is part‑time (.45 FTE), classified hourly, not benefits eligible, and under the Division of Student Success, Career Services department.
