Mathematics, Mathematics Education and Statistics Non-Tenure Track Faculty (Applicant Pool)
The MSU Mathematical Sciences Department maintains a pool of Non-Tenure-Track applicants for consideration as potential instructors in mathematics, mathematics education and statistics courses.
Montana State University seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions. Instructors are needed to teach classes depending upon need and available funding. Applications are accepted on a continual basis and will be maintained in pool for two years.
Responsibilities may include:
Teaching on-campus courses. Advising, evaluating and assisting students and/or curriculum and/or course development.
Master's Degree in mathematics, mathematics teaching, statistics or closely related field. Two years teaching experience.
The successful candidate will have good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to relate to and establish rapport with a college student population. Exercise good judgment and self-motivation. Possess strong interest in student success. Be committed to quality teaching.
