Hospitality Instructors for the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship Non-Tenure Track Faculty (Applicant Pool)  Montana State University invites experienced hospitality professionals to the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship faculty as Instructors, delivering high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ideal candidate will contribute to student success and academic excellence while supporting the mission of Montana State University through engaging, real-world hospitality education. Instructional assignments are contingent upon departmental needs and the availability of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities - Teach undergraduate and/or graduate hospitality courses in on-campus and/or online formats, ensuring high-quality, engaging instruction. Incorporate real-world applications and experiential learning to enhance student understanding of hospitality principles and practices. Stay current with industry trends, professional standards, and advancements in hospitality education to maintain course relevance. Foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills  Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business Administration (MBA), Culinary Arts Management, or a closely related business field.

Preferred Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills  Significant (5+ years) high-level management, ownership, or operational experience in the hospitality industry (e.g., hotel/lodging, restaurant/food service, or event management). Prior university-level teaching experience. Terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Hospitality Management or a closely related field.
