Marketing Instructors for the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship Non-Tenure Track Faculty
Montana State University invites experienced marketing professionals to the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship faculty as Instructors, delivering high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We seek dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and can collaborate effectively with faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will contribute to student success and academic excellence while supporting the mission of Montana State University through engaging, real-world marketing education.
Instructional assignments are contingent upon departmental needs and the availability of funding.
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses in on-campus and/or online formats, ensuring high-quality, engaging instruction. Incorporate real-world applications and experiential learning to enhance student understanding of marketing principles and practices. Stay current with industry trends, professional standards, and advancements in marketing education to maintain course relevance. Foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Relevant marketing certification (e.g., AMA Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®), Google Analytics Certification, Hub Spot Content Marketing Certification, Digital Marketing Certification). Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field. Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in marketing. Strong knowledge of current industry trends and practices in areas such as digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, market research, or strategic marketing.
Be committed to experiential learning, incorporating real-world applications, case studies, and industry partnerships into teaching. Be committed to supporting, mentoring, and inspiring students from all backgrounds. Be committed to utilizing effective pedagogy that involves students in the learning process. Have the ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic environment.
