ECM is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronics, testing and troubleshooting who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a critical role in assembling, testing and supporting the development and production of cutting-edge electric motor systems.
Responsibilities- Assemble, wire and test electrical and electronic components for motor systems and control units
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and circuit boards
- Support engineering team with prototype builds/assemblies and testing procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results and any issues encountered
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet technical design specifications
- Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all operations

- Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in an electrical/electronic technician role preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, technical design drawings and wiring diagrams
- Skilled in soldering, assembling PCBs and using multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with motor controls, embedded systems or power electronics a plus
