ABOUT CASECASE is a small, field-driven engineering and quality control company supporting construction, geotechnical, and materials testing projects. Our team includes a strong base of Technician Level I and II staff and a single licensed Professional Engineer providing technical oversight.

THE OPPORTUNITYCASE is primarily seeking a Senior Field Engineer (Tech III) to join the team on a defined advancement track into Operations Management. Exceptional candidates who are not yet Tech III-ready may be considered at the Tech II level with a clear development plan.
This position works directly under CASE’s licensed Professional Engineer, providing qualifying experience, mentorship, and applied responsibility for Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and engineers pursuing PE licensure.
ROLE STRUCTURE (Depending on Experience)Role Consideration 1:
Field Engineer – Tech II (Development Role)
Tech II Field Engineers support field testing, inspection, and QA/QC activities while developing technical competence and field judgment under supervision. Tech II candidates must demonstrate the judgment, accountability, and learning capacity to progress to Tech III within a defined timeframe.
Role Consideration 2:
Senior Field Engineer – Tech III (Primary Target Role)
Tech III staff serve as senior technical resources and on-site leads. Responsibilities include leading advanced and non-routine testing and inspections, interpreting plans and specifications, supervising technicians, serving as the primary technical contact on site, supporting QA/QC compliance and accreditation, mentoring staff, and supporting operational planning.
Tech III is the required role for advancement into Operations Manager.

Advancement is performance-based and dependent on technical competence, leadership ability, judgment, and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, Geotechnical, or related)
- PE or EIT certification with intent to pursue PE licensure
- Willingness to work in active field environments and travel as required
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction inspection, materials testing, special inspection, or applied engineering environments.
