Location:

Bozeman, MT (Relocation assistance may be provided). Job Status:
Exempt-salaried.

Role Responsibilities

As an entry civil engineer you will learn and support the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of design work.

  • Collaborate with design teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to grasp project vision.
  • Use design software to create project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications and FAA regulations.
  • Learn FAA regulations.
  • Ensure precision and project safety through meticulous design attention.
  • Tackle design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.
  • Support project managers with construction administration tasks.
  • Perform project tasks and work closely with cross‑functional teams.
  • Complete project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers.
  • Learn and apply construction methodologies to help oversee onsite project builds.
  • Meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Your Strengths
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or equivalent ABET‑accredited engineering program
  • 0–3+ years of experience with civil engineering design and construction projects
  • Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) professional designation preferred or willing to obtain soon after hire
  • Exposure to engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Civil3D
  • Technical mindset for troubleshooting and resolving complex problems
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record required for periodic travel
