I&C Systems Engineer

Piper Maddox is supporting a top-tier nuclear engineering organization as they continue to scale their technical team. They are now seeking a highly skilled I&C Systems Engineer to support next‑generation nuclear technologies across advanced reactor programs. This is a fully remote role within the United States.

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Proven experience within the nuclear sector, specifically supporting I&C system development.
• 5+ years in system architecture, system design, or system engineering.
• Demonstrated background operating in highly regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of modular reactors, SMRs, or high temperature gas reactors.

• This is a senior, high impact position where you will:
• Lead I&C system projects end to end, from requirements through delivery.
• Develop and manage system-level requirements, specifications, and architecture.
• Drive cross functional engineering collaboration across electrical, mechanical, software, and safety teams.
• Produce and review system level technical documentation.
• Serve as a technical authority for internal teams and external customers.
