Play a key role in designing, developing, and documenting mechanical & plumbing systems for projects. Close coordination with architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, and internal cross-discipline engineering team members. Collaborate with internal members of the mechanical and plumbing design team.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building construction.
- Design process knowledge: planning, design modeling, specification, project mgmt, and construction support.
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards. (ASHRAE, IBC, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems.
- Energy modeling and sustainable design practices and software. Carrier HAP and LoopCAD.
- PLUS (but NOT required) - Revit Skills
- PLUS (but NOT required) - Professional Engineering License
Demonstrates expertise in mechanical design for building construction, including HVAC and plumbing systems, while ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. Proficient in energy modeling and sustainable design practices, with a focus on collaboration and project management.
