Job Description

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services. The Financial Solutions Advisor is part of the Advisor Development Program and plays a critical role in helping clients pursue their life goals through personalized, holistic financial advice. The role begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66 or equivalent) and progresses through structured training toward becoming a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain Securities Industry licenses—SIE within 60 days and Series 7 and 66 (or equivalents) within 120 days of hire.
  • Participate in dedicated training, coaching, and consultative development programs.
  • Build, nurture, and manage client relationships; identify financial needs and propose comprehensive solutions.
  • Provide end‑to‑end advice, deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies aligned with clients’ goals.
  • Align Merrill and Bank of America products and services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to address all of a client’s financial needs.
  • Grow client base through referral networks, marketing support, and pro‑active outreach.
  • Maintain regulatory due diligence and comply with SAFE Act registration requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Confidence in a sales role and ability to build strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Proactive mindset with strong time‑management skills.
  • Results‑driven focus that prioritizes client interests.
  • Ability to identify appropriate client solutions by applying new learnings.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply regulatory due diligence in daily activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services or sales experience.
  • Adaptability to new technology or applications.
  • Capacity to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Information

Position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees must register and maintain registration in good standing; failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to termination.

Shift: 1st shift (United States of America);
Hours per week: 40.
