* Position Summary:

** The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

* Minimum Qualifications:

* ** Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
* American Heart Association BLS
* Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing.
* Participates in two hours annually of trauma education
* Participates in eight hours annually of orthopedic education
** Preferred
* ** Orthopedic Nurse Certification (ONC)

** Physical Requirements
*** Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling:
Support 50 pounds of weight (patient, assist with bedside needs, etc.) Lift 50 pounds (pick up a child, transfer a patient, etc.) Carry equipment/supplies. Use upper body strength (CPR, physically restrain patient, etc.)
