Evergreen Healthcare Group is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian for the Billings, Montana area. This position provides consultation and oversight to our skilled nursing centers located in the Billings, MT area. Must be a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist. Long term care experience preferred. The ideal candidate will be well versed in teaching, mentoring and collaborating with the Dietary and Nutrition teams in the assigned center’s to meet the regulations set forth by State and Federal Nutrition Standards.

Primary responsibilities include completion of nutritional assessments and care plans, along with evaluating all aspects of the Food & Nutrition Services Department, including regulatory compliance, sanitation, infection control, meal preparation and service, and budgeting systems. Assists skilled nursing facilities in implementing and maintaining company standards.

• Ability to travel to centers and/or attend educational offerings presented by the Center, as well as approved offerings by Association conferences or other entities.
• Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other Center staff. Possess special interest in and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly.
• Ability to taste and smell food to determine quality and palatability.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Service Administration (or as required by state regulations).
• Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and complete continuing education to remain registered (as required by state regulations).
• State licensure or certification (as required by state regulations)
• Prefer long-term care experience and/or food service experience.
