This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift. On-call 1 shift every 2 weeks, weekend shifts varying.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will administer respiratory care to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. This role also involves training and acting as a resource for the respiratory department.

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and nebulized medications.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and perform associated critical care duties.
• Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis.
• Document all relevant patient data in the medical record.
• Formulate and evaluate teaching plans for patients and families.
• Coordinate and manage patient care effectively while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and continue professional education.

• Montana Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification (NBRC).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred Certification in Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (NBRC-NPS) and/or Adult Critical Care Specialist (NBRC-ACCS).
