Exciting Opportunity for an Acute Care Sonographer (Night Shift) Make a Difference:
Join an elite team as an Acute Care Sonographer II, providing critical ultrasound services that assist in diagnosis and treatment. Independence:
Work primarily on your own in a fast-paced, complex acute care inpatient setting. Requirements: ARDMS certification in at least one category (OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts). Advanced ARDMS certification or ten years of experience with a commitment to achieve it within the first year. BLS certification within 60 days of hire. At least 2 years of post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice.

Preferred Experience:

5 years of post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound exams and procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Assist physicians and medical staff during exams and procedures. Document all information required for proper interpretation and reporting of exams. Retrieve and review previous studies to ensure timely performance and reporting. Participate in quality improvement initiatives as outlined in the strategic plan. Essential

Sound judgment and professional demeanor. Tact and sensitivity while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to perform well in a busy and stressful environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities. Schedule Requirements:
Regular and sustained attendance is vital. Evenings, weekends, and on-call duties may be required.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Frequent twisting, bending, and fine finger movements. Close visual acuity and cognitive skills to complete tasks independently. Exposure:
