** Position Highlights:**
- ** Make a Difference:
** Play a pivotal role in patient care by producing high-quality CT images for interpretation by radiologists and medical professionals.
- ** Advanced Technology:
** Operate cutting-edge CT scanners and leverage your knowledge to enhance imaging quality while minimizing exposure.
- ** Collaborative Environment:
** Work closely with Radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures, contributing to the overall patient care experience.
- ** Varied Responsibilities:** - Perform CT exams for various departments including NICU, CCU, and ED.
- Assist with the archiving and retrieval of exams, ensuring proper documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, helping to shape service excellence.

* Minimum Qualifications:
** - Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
- ARRT certification as R.T.(R) and advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT).
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in radiology as a registered technologist.

* Preferred Qualifications:
** - One (1) year of previous CT experience in a trauma center (level I or II).

* Essential Job Functions:
** - Perform CT exams and assist the medical staff throughout the process.
- Document and retrieve health information for timely patient care.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while managing a busy, complex environment.
- Work independently in a fast-paced acute care setting.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Sound judgment, patience, and a professional demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and participate in call rotations.

** - Ability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to handle on-call situations and respond promptly to needs.
** Exposures:** - Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and radiation.
- Interaction with infectious diseases and handling of various chemicals.
** Shift Information:** - Monday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
