As a Breakfast Attendant @ the Element Tukwila Hotel
, you will prepare the breakfast buffet bar for hotel guests while greeting and serving them in a friendly manner, consistent with brand and/or hotel sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest!
- Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the daily service hours
- Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty the garbages
- Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
- Address guest questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
- Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, and/or trays
- Fill beverage dispensers
- Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
- Performs other related duties as required

- Flexibility with shifts and scheduling
- Must be available some weekends and/or holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have stellar attendance and punctuality
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Experience working in food service is preferred (WA Food Handlers permit required)
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
