Job Description:

The Atlassian Administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, architecting and troubleshooting Zoot’s Atlassian systems. This role will focus on building scalable workflows, automations, and system configurations that support business and engineering processes. The Administrator will also support Zoot’s Microsoft 365 implementation alongside the Corporate team, manage changing priorities, and work within a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and strategic guidance for Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), including migrations.
• Design, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence, including workflows, issue types, automation, spaces, templates, and overall system structure.
• Establish and enforce platform standards, governance, and best practices such as naming conventions, permission models, and scalable configurations.
• Administer Atlassian Cloud products, deliver user training, documentation, and manage apps and integrations.
• Assist with Microsoft/Office 365 solutions (e.g., SharePoint, Power
  
  BI).
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and ensuring system resilience.
• Assist with troubleshooting the corporate environment, resolving system errors and crashes.
• Enforce policies, manage access controls, and respond to suspicious activity or cyber threats.
• Track issues in a ticketing system, logging work, next steps, and communication with users and teams.
• Manage data backup strategies and generate purchase orders for software.
• Create general reports and audit responses.
• Collaborate with network, application, security, and service operations teams.
• Monitor external services for outages and communicate internally.
• Identify changes needed to maintain a modern corporate environment and evaluate IT solutions.
• Orchestrate the corporate environment in alignment with Zoot’s policies and Change Management processes.
• Escalate issues beyond personal scope after thorough troubleshooting and documentation.
• Track time for accounting purposes.
• Comply with Zoot’s Policies, Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
• Demonstrate a service‑focused culture, delivering high‑quality products and services to internal customers.
• Respond to after‑hours support requests as needed.

• High School Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field or an equal combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements: All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes operating computers and other office machinery. This position requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.

The position is primarily in an office setting, typically a cubicle in an open space. Employees are expected to report to work on-site during normal business hours, with occasional nighttime and weekend work, and may require occasional travel.
