Job Description

The Configuration and Change Management Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and auditing the configuration management and change management processes. This role defines, implements, maintains, and audits the CCM process. The manager reports on changes to the system, ensuring IT assets, configurations and systems are documented, tracked, and controlled throughout their lifecycle to maintain systems integrity, reduce risk, and support company operations.

The manager ensures all changes to systems utilize standardized methods and procedures so that systems and software deploy in a consistent, reliable, and efficient manner. Additionally, the Change Manager participates in defining, managing, documenting, auditing, and reporting a CCM repository that catalogs all CCM artifacts to provide a complete inventory of software and configurations for the system.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist with the definition, implementation, maintenance, and auditing of configuration and change management processes (CCM) in alignment with ITIL and Zoot policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure all changes are prioritized, authorized, planned, tested, documented, reviewed, and then implemented with minimal disruption to operations, maintaining system integrity and security.
  • Prepare and maintain configuration documentation and diagrams, configuration artifacts, and the configuration management database.
  • Validate and audit configuration artifact and configuration values within Zoot systems and software for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure the organization complies with identification standards for artifacts, environments, processes, life cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases, and templates.
  • Identify, recommend, and participate in process improvements to build, change, release, and configure processes, including opportunities to automate or streamline processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and report on all changes to the system, including coordination of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, review, approval, and reporting of changes to core software and client platform installations.
  • Know and comply with Zoot’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
  • Achieve a service‑focused culture with emphasis on delivering on‑time, high‑quality products and services to internal and external customers.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of high‑performance industry or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements: All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequent communications with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors. This position specifically requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.

This position will take place primarily in an office setting. The workspace is typically a cubicle in an open space environment. Exempt employees are expected to report on‑site to Zoot headquarters during normal business hours. Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required and the position may occasionally require travel.
