Montana State University is hiring a Accessible Technology Support Specialist to coordinate technology-enabled accessibility services that keep MSU compliant with ADA Title II requirements. The role oversees effective communication accommodations, supports digital content accessibility in learning environments, and manages assistive technology systems across campus.
Highlights- Assesses and determines assistive technology needs for students with sensory and mobility-related disabilities.
- Recommends, implements, and supports tools that enhance access, retention, and academic success, maintaining case documentation to track outcomes.
- Collaborates with faculty and departments on effective communication accommodations.
- Advances digital content accessibility and inclusive design across academic and public programming.
- Sits within Disability & Re-entry Services, in the division reporting under the President.
- Pays $34.62 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
- Works a 1.0 FTE, benefits-eligible classified position on a fiscal-year/semester contract term.
- Not eligible for new visa sponsorship.
