Body Line Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Body Line Machine Operator is to receive product from the Rough Mill and to use a variety of machines to sand, shape and prepare the guitar body for the next department. An adaptable and flexible mentality is critical, as there are several different types of machines utilized in this department.

Essential Functions:

* Learn and execute standard operating procedures.

* Able to safely and efficiently operate an oscillating sander, handheld pneumatic drum sander, a slack belt sander, and routing table.

* 95% pass rate based on production requirements.

* Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.)

* Maintains product flow at appropriate rate.

* Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Strong attention to detail.

* Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision.

* Develop a strong understanding of all guitar models and machine function.

* Clear and logical thinker.

Education and Experience:

* Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to stand all day and lift guitars throughout the day.
