Must be able to catch/transition nurse, act as Charge Nurse, float to other departments as safety companion. L&D experience (antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, PACU) preferred.
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.
Minimum Qualifications- Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLSSTABLE certification within two years of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification required; recertification required every 2 years
- Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation (Assessment)
- Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care)
- Implements the identified plan of care
- Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment
- Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
- Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
