MandatoryExperience:
- OR RN
- Bachelor's degree from accredited School of Nursing, Associates degree
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
- Preferred:
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) - Preferred: 1 year circulating experience
- Preferred: 1 year scrub experience
- Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
- Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality
- Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Stroke
Competency: - Complies with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
- Participates in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
- Participates in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
