Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery, Bozeman, Montana, United States. Travel assignment starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,521–$2,621 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Rotating. Setting:
Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit. This traveling role requires collaboration with the care team to provide patient- and family-centered care in a high‑acuity obstetric environment.

09/28/2026 - Setting:
Hospital-based labor and delivery unit
- Circulate during labor and delivery and be willing to float to Mother Baby and care for newborns (couplets), and to other units as safety needs dictate.
- Plan and implement patient and family education related to labor, delivery, newborn care, and lactation support as appropriate.
- Assess patient needs, identify diagnoses or issues, develop an individualized plan of care, and implement interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
- Monitor fetal status and respond to obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the health care team; promote a safe, clean, and well‑organized clinical environment.
- Document care, evaluate outcomes, participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice, and provide leadership within the professional practice setting.
- Maintain ethical standards, collaborate with patients and families, and adapt to a busy, dynamic clinical setting.
- On‑call duties may be required to meet organizational or patient needs.
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) active
- American Heart Association BLS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification (NRP recertification required every 2 years)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN-approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) recertification every 2 years
- American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)
- Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing
- Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
- If Lactation RN:
Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC) - Preferred:
One year of labor and delivery experience - Ability to work in a high-volume, fast‑paced obstetric setting and to float as needed
