AC Hotel Breakfast Server

The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. The Breakfast Server will take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables courteously and efficiently. They will collect payments and assist in keeping the area and equipment clean.

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in the restaurant.
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
• Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas.
• Quickly and accurately take guest orders.
• Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Accurately prepare meal checks and collect payments from guests, including using the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift cards, room credits and vouchers.
• Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field is a plus.
• English fluency required.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service is a plus.
• Ability to input and access information in computers.
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Full‑ and part‑time positions available.
• Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed.
• Possess basic reading, writing and math skills.
