Sales Associate​/Cashier

Position: Sales Associate/Cashier - Part Time or Full Time

Reports to: Store Manager & Store Supervisor/Management Team

Position Philosophy:

The Sales Floor Associate’s primary responsibility is providing exceptional customer service at all times while also participating in the general upkeep of the store. Once assigned to a department the Associate will be responsible for the upkeep of that specific area of the store while still contributing to the overall store upkeep as needed. The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

The Sales Associate will be trained to Cashier. This will allow for the sales associate to be able to fill in as a Cashier as determined by the Store Manager.

16-30 hours/week. If a student, possible to have up to 40 hours per week during the summer. If in school we will work with your school schedule to find times that work for you and us. The "School Semester/Part Time" employee will be expected to be flexible in their schedule. Changes can and will happen with the work schedule but will be communicated ahead of time by management as to eliminate any surprises.

32-40 hours/week. Start May 1st and end August 26th. Summer Seasonal could be up to full time 40 hours per week or as little as 32 hours per week. The "Summer Seasonal" employee will be expected to be flexible in their schedule. Changes can and will happen with the work schedule but will be communicated ahead of time by management as to eliminate any surprises.

16-24 hours/week. We work together to create a specific schedule & hours that works for both Owenhouse & the employee. The "All Year/Part Time" employee will be expected to be flexible in their schedule. Changes can and will happen with the work schedule but will be communicated ahead of time by management as to eliminate any surprises. Most schedule changes are as needed for semesters and summer coverage.
