• Manage department inventory, pricing, merchandising, labor, and safety rules.
• Plan and order products and supplies and schedule work to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all bakery equipment and supervise correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation of merchandise, and building of displays.
• Perform a variety of other tasks in the store, ensuring that all employees meet safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
